"Having the opportunity to work for almost 2 years with Dr. Kuo and the Endocrine Surgery Research Team at CUMC was a formative experience. Their dedication to mentoring trainees and formal instruction on fundamental statistical analysis, project design, and scientific communication provided me with a phenomenal foundation to pursue a career as a physician-scientist.  I owe much of my ability to conduct independent research to my experience with this group. It was a fantastic and productive experience that allowed me to develop relationships with lifelong mentors and be involved with cutting-edge endocrine surgery research for which I am very grateful."
